Review

This movie was an amazing coming of age story about four girls learning what it means to be a family and learning what it means to be in the music industry. I loved the storyline. It was more than just girls becoming famous. It was about these four good hearted girls wanting to make a difference, by showing the world that it’s okay to be yourself.

Jerrica Guitar croppedI loved the actors. Each one played such an important roll and they all acted perfectly. Each character was so believable. I felt every single emotion that was being portrayed and I was cheering our main characters on the entire time. I wanted them to succeed so bad because the actors made them feel so real and likeable.

hero_Jem-and-the-Holograms-2015The music shown throughout this movie was so incredible. I loved the performances and how catchy the lyrics were. It was the type of music I would listen to in my day to day life.

Jem-And-Holograms-Movie-Trailer-2Our main characters Jerrica and Kimber lost their father when they were very young . They found themselves on a scavenger hunt that their dad created right before he passed. It was so heartwarming to see them grow closer to their father by following the advice he gives throughout the hunt.

051315-jem-and-the-holograms-trailerThis movie had everything. Family, fame, loss, romance, and friendship. It is an amazing story that I would encourage every young adolescent to watch. This is my second time watching the film and I still enjoyed it as much as the first time. I wish this movie was more popular because even though it’s only a couple years old, I don’t think that many people gave it a true chance.
