Five medical students embark on a daring and dangerous experiment to gain insight into the mystery of what lies beyond the confines of life. The bold adventure begins when they trigger near-death experiences by stopping their hearts for short periods of time. As their trials become more perilous, each must confront the sins from their past while facing the paranormal consequences of journeying to the other side.

The credits are still rolling as I’m writing this review and the only word that comes to my mind in this moment is WOW. What an amazing movie. I don’t understand why the reviews have been so low because I absolutely loved it.

flatlinersWith just the right amount of drama and horror this movie is about a group of students learning at a hospital to become doctors, become addicted to flatlining themselves as they believe it gives them an edge to becoming the next best doctor. But what they didn’t plan on, was having haunting hallucinations after they experimented with flatlining.

4Hs4PduN20Oq5qwljRgMHAThe actors were amazing. I love how the group stuck together during the entire movie, making sure that they were there for one another after they died and came back to life. They portrayed their characters perfectly, I honestly almost believed that this was actually happening

FL-DLuna02The plot was so original, I’ve never watched anything like this. And the intensity!! I was at the edge of my seat for the entire movie, waiting for what was to come. I also loved how there was just a touch of horror, making the movie more intense but not too scary that I was able to watch it alone.

flat-lineI highly recommend anyone who hasn’t watched it to give it a chance. I truly think that if your into drama, mystery and a touch of horror this one is for you. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this film because it is most likely going to make my Top Ten list of the year.
